That mix of nostalgia and superiority is a dangerous cocktail. She remembered the work, just not the dignity that went with it.

Now, forgot where she came from would fit here perfectly, but I'm afraid shes the type of person who forgot where she is while she was still there. There are people like that, who are so superior inside their own little mind, nothing to them seems like an opportunity for growth or learning. And it's a shame she's one of those, being a TEACHER and all.
